ARC President and CEO Anas Dagnestani, M.D.,  Leads Federal Policy Committee for America’s Physicians Group

As if his role as President and CEO of Austin Regional Clinic is not demanding enough, Anas Daghestani, MD, has also been appointed Chair of the Federal Policy Committee for America’s Physicians Group (APG). In this position, he oversees the committee that makes recommendations to improve existing federal programs, laws, and regulations. This includes providing the Federal Affairs staff with specific ‘real world’ guidance and metrics on federal comment letters, exploring future advocacy priorities, and sharing updates on current policy or proposed changes from congressional and administrative staff.

America’s Physician Groups (APG) is a professional association, representing over 300 medical groups, independent practice associations, and integrated healthcare systems across the nation. APG’s mission is to assist accountable physician groups in improving the quality and value of healthcare provided to patients.
