Recruitment Fraud
& Candidate Safety

agilon health has been made aware of fraudulent schemes in which individuals falsely claim to represent our company and offer fake employment opportunities. These scams are designed to obtain personal information or money from job seekers.

We take this matter seriously and want to help you protect yourself.

How to identify fraudulent job offers

agilon health recruiters and hiring teams will never:

  • Ask for payment, fees, or financial information at any stage of the hiring process.
  • Request banking details, credit card numbers, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or wire transfers.
  • Ask for your Social Security number or other sensitive information before a formal offer and secure onboarding process.
  • Conduct interviews solely via text message or messaging apps (e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal).
  • Extend an offer without completing a formal interview process.
  • Send official communication from public email domains (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook).

How to verify legitimate agilon health communications

To confirm you are communicating with an official agilon health representative:

  • Emails will come only from an official @agilonhealth.com domain.
  • All open roles are posted on our official careers page.
  • This is our verified LinkedIn company page.
  • Recruiters representing agilon health will clearly identify themselves and their affiliation.

If you are unsure about a communication, do not respond. Instead, forward the message to: [email protected] for validation.

What to do if you suspect fraud

  • Do not share personal or financial information.
  • Report the account or message directly to the platform where you were contacted.
  • If you believe you have been a victim of a scam, report it to:
    • The FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3.gov)
    • The Federal Trade Commission (FTC.gov)
